Mrs. Roxie Odom of 921 Cecilia street was given final rites on Thursday at 
Goodwill Baptist Church, with the Rev. Vannie Parker officiating.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery under direction of the B. F. King Funeral 
Home.

A native of North Carolina, Mrs. Odom is survived by two sons, Norman Wright 
of Norfolk and Melvin Wright, who is serving in the Army in Germany;  two 
daughters, Mrs. Barbara Chavious and Mrs. Virginia Poole of Norfolk;  and a 
sister, Mrs. Alice Temple, also of Norfolk.
