Oliver's Funeral Apartments, 610-612 East Freemason Street, this afternoon at 4 o'clock. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. O'Donnell and the other three were cleaning out one of the enamel ovens at the plant Saturday morning when there was a burst of flame, the origin of which has not yet been determined by plant officials. The other three men are recovering from their burns but Mr. O'Donnell died Saturday night at 11:06 o'clock, a little less than 12 hours after the accident. Two other men, at work in the upper part of the oven, were not burned, but sustained bruises when they jumped down 10 feet to make their escape. O'Connell was a native of Columbus, Ohio and had been a resident of Norfolk for four years, during which time he was employed at the Ford plant. Besides his wife, Mrs. Grace Osgood O'Donnell, he is survived by four stepsons, L. Monroe, Alfred B., Joseph E. and Clifton F. Cummings; one sister, Miss Mary O'Donnell, of Columbus and three brothers, George O. O'Donnell, of Columbus; Michael O'Donnell, of Chicago and Hugh O'Connell, of Evansville, Ind. Mr. O'Donnell was 45 years old. ***************************************************************************** Joseph D. O’Donnell — Funeral services for Joseph D. O'Donnell, who died Saturday evening at a local hospital, were held yesterday afternoon at 4 o’clock at H. D. Oliver’s Funeral Apartments, 610-12 East Freemason street, with the Rev. Patrick J. Tierney, of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, officiating. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The pallbearers were L. L. Scott, L. T. West, Horace Jernigan, .. Heath, R. C. Whitehead and George Bowen.
