Theresa E. Oglesby, 77, died Oct. 12, 1999, in Mary Immaculate Hospital, Newport 
News.

Mrs. Oglesby was born Nov. 15, 1921, to Mr. and Mrs. Dennis A. Enright in Norfolk. 
She was the widow of Harold E. Oglesby. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament 
Catholic Church in Norfolk. Mrs. Oglesby retired in 1998 from Ward North America 
Insurance Co., where she worked for 37 years.

Survivors include two sons, James B. Courtney of Chesapeake and Dennis R. Courtney 
of Virginia Beach; a sister, Mrs. Thomas J. Hipple Jr. of Lightfoot, Va.; five 
grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at Blessed 
Sacrament Catholic Church by the Rev. Andre Antao. Burial will be at St. Mary's 
Catholic Cemetery. A Christian wake service will be held at 7 p.m. today at H.D. 
Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to Bon 
Secours Hospice, Newport News, Va.
