Virginian-Pilot, August 22, 1899

Miss Phoebe Oglesby, the 14 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George P. Oglesby 
of Thirty-Ninth Street, died Sunday after an illness of several weeks from 
typhoid fever. The funeral was held from the residence at 3 o’clock yesterday 
afternoon and was conducted by Rev. L. Bouldin, of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church. 
The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk.
