Norfolk Virginian March 5, 1895

Sister Camilla O'Keefe, one of the Sisters in charge of St. Mary's Catholic Orphan 
Asylum, died at that institution on Sunday night after an extended illness. She 
was of a sweet disposition and though known to few people of the world, her loss 
will be deeply felt. Sister Camilla was 37 years old and was a native of New York 
and had been here about ten years. Her funeral will take place this morning at 9 
o'clock from St. Mary's Catholic Church and interment will be made in the Catholic 
Cemetery.
