The funeral of Miss Annie E. O’Keefe was held at St. Mary’s Catholic church at 10 
o’clock yesterday morning and was largely attended. Requiem mass was celebrated by 
Rev. Father John Doherty, during which he paid a beautiful tribute to the life and 
character of the deceased lady. During the obsequies, Mrs. James Hughes sang, 
“Abide With Me.” There was a magnificent display of floral offerings. Interment 
was in St. Mary’s cemetery.
Following were the pall-bearers: M. J. Madden, M. T. Cashin, John J. Bergin, John 
A. Moran, J. V. Trehy, B. P. Wall, M. T. Friary, George B. Corpman.
