O'Keefe, aged 65, son of the late John J. and Margaret Ahern O'Keefe, died at the residence, 738 Graydon Park, last night at 11 o'clock. Mr. O'Keefe was a native of Washington, D.C. and a well known resident of Norfolk for the past 55 years. He was president of the O'Keefe Sign Company. He also participated in a number of amateur theatrical performances. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Norfolk Lodge No. 38, B.P.O.E., and was a former Norfolk councilman. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J. Frank East, Jr. and Miss Carolyn L. O'Keefe; five sons, William A., Walter B., Dr. John J. Jr., Thomas T. and Raymond O'Keefe; a sister, Miss Ellie C. O'Keefe, of Norfolk and a brother, William J. O'Keefe, of Cape Henry; three grandchildren, W.E. Burke O'Keefe, J. Frank East 3d and William Raymond East and an aunt, Mrs. Mary Ahern, of Norfolk. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. ************************************************************************** John J. O’Keefe - Funeral services for Mr. O’Keefe, whose death occurred Tuesday night, will be held at the residence, 738 Graydon Park, tomorrow morning at 11 o’clock. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
