O'Keefe Caught Beneath Automobile Driven By Husband When Brakes Failed HUSBAND EXPECTED TODAY WITH HIS WIFE'S BODY Desperately trying to avoid a collision with the machine in front of him when the one he was driving became incontrollable on a steep hill just beyond Towson, Md., yesterday morning, John J. O'Keefe of Norfolk ran his auto up a bank, only to have it turn over and instantly kill his wife, Mrs. Caroline Louise Keefe, who was seated beside him. Mr. O'Keefe is expected to arrive in Norfolk this morning with the body of his wife. Mr. O'Keefe is a well known sign painter of Norfolk, living at 738 Graydon Park. His wife was the daughter of the late John J. and Henrietta Buchanan of Portsmouth. She is survived by seven children, five sons, William, Walter, John, Thomas and Raymond; and two daughters, Margaret and Caroline. The oldest child is about twelve years. She is survived also by four brothers, Walter, Joseph, Raymond and George, all of Norfolk. O’Keefe, in the 37th year of her age. The remains will be taken from the residence, No. 738 Graydon Park, to the Church of the Sacred Heart THIS (Wednesday) MORNING at 10 o’clock, for services. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
