O'Keefe Dies In Hospital, Victim of Poison Walter Edmund O'Keefe, aged 32, son of the late John J. and Caroline Buchanan O'Keefe, died at St. Vincent's Hospital yesterday afternoon at 1:15 o'clock. Mr. O'Keefe's death was the result of swallowing a poison and disinfectant at the home of his brother, Dr. J.J. O'Keefe, 738 Graydon Avenue, according to a report filed at police headquarters by the investigating officer, Detective Leon Nowitzky, coroner's investigator. No inquest will be held, the report stated. Mr. O'Keefe was taken to the hospital by Dr. O'Keefe. Mr. O'Keefe was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk. Besides his wife, Mrs. Vivian Mitchell O'Keefe, he is survived by one son, Walter Edmund Burke O'Keefe; two sisters, Mrs. J. Frank East, Jr. and Miss Carolyn O'Keefe; four brothers, Dr. J.J. O'Keefe, Jr., William A. O'Keefe, R.V. O'Keefe and T.T. O'Keefe. The body will be taken from the residence, 738 Graydon Park, to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for funeral services tomorrow morning at 11:30 o'clock. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
