The Norfolk Virginian Pilot November 18, 1954

Mrs. Lilia Nell Cole Old, wife of Richard Ames Old, and daughter of the late 
Joseph Yates and Mrs. Lenora Rebecca Eubank Cole, a native of Mecklenburg 
County and a resident of Norfolk for 54 years, died at the residence, 1149 
Larchmont Crescent, yesterday at 8 p.m.
She was a member of the Larchmont Methodist Church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Rebecca White, of 
Norfolk; one son, Richard A. Old Jr., of North View; two grandchildren; three 
sisters, Miss Mamie E. Cole, Mrs. Linda Fussell, both of North View, and Mrs. 
Grace Fleenor, of Cleveland, Va., and one brother, Roy Cole, of Ashboro, N.C.
The body was taken to H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments.
