The Virginian Pilot October 6, 1956
Mrs. Minnie Irene Old, 84, widow of Edward Lee Old Sr., died at a Norfolk 
hospital yesterday at 2:25 p.m. after a long illness.  She is survived by a 
daughter, Mrs. Joseph F. MacCurdy; a granddaughter, Mrs. William R. Breeden, 
both of Norfolk, and a son, Claude R. Old, of Philadelphia, Pa.
Mrs. Old was a lifelong resident of Norfolk and resided at 1277 W. Ocean View 
Ave.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow 
at 3 p.m.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
