Norfolk Ledger Dispatch November 19, 1954

                       MRS. H. D. OLIVER DIES AT RESIDENCE

Mrs. Mary Frances Patton Oliver, 88, widow of Harry Diggs Oliver, and member of 
a prominent family, died today at 9:10 a.m. at the residence, 526 Shirley Avenue 
after a long illness. Her husband was for years the head of the H.D. Oliver 
Funeral Apartments.
Mrs. Oliver, a native of Norfolk, was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mrs. 
Mary Kavanaugh Patton.
Surviving her are three daughters, Mrs. George E. Schraudt, Jr., of Richmond; 
Mrs. D. Kingsley Traylor and Mrs. Philip P. Sansone; two sons, Harry D. Oliver 
and James B. Oliver, all of Norfolk and 13 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Monday at 10 
a.m. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Rosary services will be conducted at the funeral apartments 7:30 Sunday night.
