Virginian-Pilot February 18, 1922
Charles B. Oliver, prominent for years as an advertising man, died Thursday night 
at a local hospital, aged 68 years. He was a native of this city, and his father 
was an officer on the ironclad Merrimac. Funeral services will be held Monday 
morning at 10 o’clock at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. 
Mary’s Cemetery.
