Bessie J. Omohundro eased quietly away to be with our Lord while surrounded by 
her loved ones on March 8, 2003. She was predeceased by her husband, Pernell 
Omohundro and was a loyal member of Grace Episcopal Church for many years. 

Bessie was a warm and loving person and all who knew her loved her. Although she 
didn't have any children of her own, she is survived by her great-nephews, 
Bradford T. Johnson of Chesapeake and Idee Johnson II and wife Teresa of Durham, 
N.C. and their two kids, Idee III and Demetrious; one great-niece, Lesa Tyler 
Saldana and her husband Angel of Norfolk; and her longtime friend, Joseph Yanez 
(Pepe) of Norfolk. 

Services will be today at noon at Grace Episcopal Church. Hale Funeral Home is 
in charge.
