J. ORMSBY DIES IN NORFOLK; BROTHER-IN-LAW, CARL CARVER, DIES IN PHILADELPHIA Charles J. Ormsby, for many years well known here, died yesterday morning at a local hospital after a short illness. He was born in Norfolk and lived here for a number of years, but had recently made his home in Philadelphia Mrs. Elizabeth Carver, a sister, who arrived here after receiving word of her brother's death, was advised of the sudden death of her husband, Carl Carver, 48, in Philadelphia yesterday afternoon. The body will be brought to Norfolk for funeral services and burial. Besides his sister, Mr. Ormsby is survived by his wife, Mrs. Helen Hayes Ormsby, and one nephew, Charles J. Edwards. The body was taken to the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments and funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
