Virginian-Pilot August 13, 1936
Mrs. Agnes O’Rourke Carty, widow of John Plunkett Carty and daughter of the late 
James and Bridgett Curtin O’Rourke, who died Tuesday night at her residence, 315 
Middle street, after an illness, will be buried this morning in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery, Norfolk. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 o’clock at St. Paul’s 
Catholic Church, Portsmouth.

Her married last name was Carty.
