Norfolk - Mrs. Katherine McDaniel Osborne of 3407 Granby St., 73, widow of Frank
A. Osborne, daughter of John H. and Mrs. Mary Parsons McDaniel, died in a
Norfolk hospital Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.

She is survived by two sons, Frank M. Osborne of Knoxville, Tenn., and David
Osborne of Norfolk;  a brother, Lorie H. McDaniel of Rehobeth, MD., two sisters,
Mrs. Earnest Blades and Mrs. Harvey Derby of Salisbury, MD., and three
grandchildren.

A native of Kingston, MD., she lived in Norfolk most of her life.  She was a
member of Knox Presbyterian Church, W.H.T.S Bible Class, and Mizaph Chapter 36,
Order of Eastern Star, of Charlotte, NC.

A funeral service will be conducted in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Thursday at 2
p.m. by the Rev. Joel B. Whitten of Knox Presbyterian Church.  Burial will be in
Elmwood Cemetery.
