Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark Monday December 23, 1918
Messages were received late yesterday by his sisters, telling of Seth Eugene 
Osgood, 16 years, having been killed in Baltimore in an automobile accident. 
The body will be brought to Norfolk for burial. The funeral will be held at 
2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, at the grave in Elmwood cemetery, with 
services by Rev. J.T. Riddick, pastor of the Park avenue Baptist church.
No particulars as to what occasioned the accident were given in the messages 
received by the sisters. They are Mrs. L.L. Cummings, Mrs. S.C. McCarthy and 
Miss Helen Osgood, all of Norfolk.
