The Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark December 13, 1934

Mrs. Lucy Christina Osgood- Funeral services for Mrs. Osgood will be held 
Friday at noon at the Gregory Funeral Home, 3401 Granby Street, with the Rev. 
T. Ryland Sanford, D.D., pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. 
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Osgood, who was 69 years of age, died Tuesday night. She is survived by 
three daughters, Mrs. Grace B. Odonell and Mrs. Ferrell L. Carley, of Norfolk, 
and Mrs. Helen G. Sheldon, of Baltimore; two sisters, Mrs. Hattie L. Booker, 
Norfolk, and Mrs. Mattie Rice of Washington; a brother E.C. Phelps, of 
Illinois; eight grandchildren and one niece.
