Norfolk - A funeral service for Lorenzo Otey of 2427 Indian River road was held
Tuesday in Monticello Baptist Church.  The Rev. R. Barnes officiated.  Burial
was in Calvary Cemetery with E. A. Hughes Funeral Home in charge.

A native of Lynchburg, Mr. Otey was the son of Frank Otey and Mrs. Emma Otey and
the widower of Mrs. Rosetta Otey.  He was a member of Monticello Church.

Mr. Otey is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Uther Mullen, Mrs. Ollie Brown and
Miss Hattie Otey of Washington and Mrs. Bertha Grover of Baltimore;  two
brothers, Thomas Otey of Virginia Beach and Elijah Otey of Philadelphia;  a
sister, and Mrs. Elizabeth Hughes of McKeesport PA.
