Norfolk Virginian-Pilot May 18, 1936

Mrs. Rebecca E. Mott, aged 52, wife of Charles F. Mott, died at her residence, 
126 Government Avenue, Ocean View, last night at 9 o'clock. Mrs. Mott was a 
native of Petersburg and a resident of Norfolk for the past 13 years. Besides 
her husband, she is survived by one son, Charles F. Mott, Jr. and a brother, 
Charles Mitchell, all of Norfolk. The body was taken to H.D. Oliver's Funeral 
Apartments, 610-612 East Freemason Street, pending funeral arrangements.

Mrs. Rebecca E. Mott - Remains of Mrs. Mott, wife of Charles F. Mott, whose 
death occurred Sunday evening at the residence, 126 Government avenue, Ocean 
View, will be taken from H. D. Oliver’s Funeral Apartments, 610-12 East 
Freemason street, to Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ocean View, for services this 
morning at 8:15 o’clock. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
