The Virginian Pilot Saturday Jan. 28. 1956
 Mrs. Nell Saunders Ottley, 69, widow of Ernest G. Ottley, died at a Norfolk 
hospital yesterday at 8 a.m. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. George A. 
MacDonald, of Larchmont, N.Y.; a sister, Mrs. M.S. Scott, of Norfolk; two 
nieces Miss Nancy L. Scott, of Norfolk, and Miss Lydia G. Scott, of Washington, 
and two nephews, Courtenay E. McCurry, of Norfolk, and Walter K. McCurry, of 
Lexington, Ky.
Mrs. Ottley was a native of Norfolk and spent most of her life in Atlanta, 
returning to Norfolk about seven years ago. She resided at 1210 West Ocean View 
Avenue. She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church, Atlanta.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow 
at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
