The Virginian Pilot Thursday September 21, 1961
Edward Lee Overton, 62, son of Lawrence S. Overton and Mrs. Lily Overton 
Broughton, life long resident of Norfolk, died Monday in his home, 403 
Maycox Ave.
He was a member of Christ and St. Luke's Episcopal Church and Loyal Order of 
Moose Lodge 39.  He was business agent of Plasterer's Union Local 126.
Surviving are three half sisters, Mrs. Francis B. Roper and Mrs. Mayme B. 
Williams of Norfolk and Mrs. Sue B. Nasworthy of Savannah, Ga.
A funeral service will be conducted in Ewell & Williamson Funeral Home 
Friday at 2 p.m.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
