The Norfolk Virginian-Pilot Saturday January 1, 1938
Carlton Ray Overton, aged four years, son of Lee Roy and Julia Penniman Ward 
Overton, of 1612 Lovitt avenue, Brambleton, died yesterday morning at 4:30 
o'clock at a local hospital after a brief illness.  Besides his parents, he is 
survived by one brother, Lee Roy Overton, Jr., and two sisters, Ethel Loraine 
and Hazel May Overton, all of Norfolk.  
The body was removed to the Graham Funeral Home, 124 East Berkley avenue, 
where funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock.  
Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park.
