EDNA G. OVERTON

WOODRIDGE, ILL

Mrs. Edna G. Overton, 96, died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 1999, in Woodridge, Ill.  She 
was a native of New York, N.Y., and was a former resident of Newport News for 20 
years.

Mrs. Overton retired from the U.S. government.

She was preceded in death by Oron B. Overton, Oron B. Overton Jr. and C. Carson 
Overton.

Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Agnes Overton of Woodridge, Ill.; four 
grandchildren, Karen Andreas of Merritt Island, Fla., Mary Lindberg of Woodridge, 
Ill., Stephen Overton of Winfield, Ill., and Anita Naprstek of Hinsdale, Ill., and 
three great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at noon Saturday in St. Mary's Cemetery, Norfolk, 

with Father C. W. Gerloff.

Memorial donations may be made to Carefree Village, 8419 Baily Road, Darien, Ill.  
60561.

Peninsula Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
