Norfolk Journal and Guide, Oct 19,1963
Chesapeake - Clyde Owens, 61, of 1722 Oberndorfer road, received final rites 
Sunday at New Central Baptist Church, of which he was a member.  He died Oct. 9 
at his home.

Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery under direction of Fitchett Funeral Home.

A native of Elizabeth City, NC, Mr. Owens is survived by his wife, Mrs. Diane E. 
Owens;  and two sisters, Mrs. Alice Buress and Mrs. Eva Jones of Norfolk.
