NORFOLK - Mrs. Lila Owens of 1314 Church St., the widow of Steve Owens and a 
native of Powhatan County, died Wednesday in a hospital.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Mollie Boone of Baltimore; a brother, Fred Jones 
of Norfolk; and nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in B.F. King Funeral Home by the 
Rev. S.H. Wilson of National Baptist Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. 
The family will be at 842 Memphis St.
