ELIZABETH K. OWENS

NORFOLK - Elizabeth K. Owens, of the 2800 block of Earlscourt Ave., died May 17, 
1987, in a hospital.

Mrs. Owens, a Norfolk County native, was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church 
and the widow of Lloyd B. Owens.

Survivors include three daughters, Alma O. Williams of Suffolk, Willie O. Green of 
Fort Washington, Md., and Cynthia O. Smith of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Melvin 
King of Norfolk and Samuel King of New York City; two foster brothers, Joseph 
Parson and Clayton Parson of Norfolk; three grandchildren; and four great-
grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday in St. Mary's Catholic Church by 
the Rev. Walter Barrett.  Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.  A Christian wake 
service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Hale Funeral Home.
