NORFOLK - William Edward "Bill" Owens Jr. passed away March 1, 2006. Bill was a 
World War II veteran and a member of VFW Post 3160.



He is survived by his wife, Joyce Owens; two sons, William Edward "Skip" Owens 
III and his wife Sandy and Gary G. Owens and his wife Becky; four 
grandchildren, Amy, Kevin, Laurel and Kyle; and a brother, Robert A. Owens.



A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Smith & Williams Funeral 
Home, Norview Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the 
Special Olympics of Virginia, P.O. Box 90019, Richmond, VA 23225 or to the 
American Cancer Society of Virginia.
