Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark March 23, 1922

Mrs. Mary Helen Padgett, 38 years old and wife of J.M. Padgett, died yesterday 
morning. She is survived by her husband, one sister, Mrs. C.A. Dorrill and one 
brother, A.T. Stransbury, Jr. The funeral services will take place Friday 
morning at 10 o'clock at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament., Rev. Leo J. Ryan 
and Rev. Joseph Garcia officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery.

PADGETT, MARY HELEN – On Wednesday, March 22, 1922, at 4:30 o’clock a.m., MARY 
HELEN, wife of J. M. Padgett, in the 39th year of her age.
Remains will be taken from H. D. Oliver’s Funeral Apartments, 610-12 East 
Freemason street, to Church of the Blessed Sacrament for services FRIDAY MORNING 
at 10 o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, St. 
Mary’s Cemetery.
