Virginian Pilot March 7, 1901

The venerable Mrs. E.F. Padgett passed away at her home on Lee Street at 2 
o'clock p.m. yesterday at the ripe old age of 75 years. The funeral will be held 
from the late residence of the deceased at 3:30 o'clock this afternoon.

PADGETT - At her residence, No. 14 Lee Street, Huntersville, on Wednesday, March 
6th, 1901, at 2 o'clock P.M., MRS. E.F. PADGETT, aged 75 years.
The funeral will take place from the above residence THIS (Thursday) AFTERNOON 
at 3:30 o'clock. Friends and acquaintances are invited to attend.

The obsequies of Mrs. E.F. Padgett, who passed away at her home on Lee Street, 
Huntersville, Wednesday afternoon, were held from the residence at 3:30 p.m. 
yesterday and were conducted by Rev. Edward Mack, D.D., of the First 
Presbyterian Church. The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery.
