Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, December 18, 1990 
Cliftorian Virginia Paige, of the 900 block of Avenue F, a retired elevator
operator and church organist, died Dec. 15, 1990, in a hospital.

Mrs. Paige, a native of Norfolk, had retired from the Royster Building after 35
years and from Mount Gilead Baptist Church, where she was a member, after 40 years.

She is survived by several cousins, including Henry Tonkins of Wakefield.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Mount Gilead Baptist Church
by the Rev. Raymond L. Dean. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Viewing will
be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Riddick Funeral Service. The body will be
placed in church at 11:30 a.m. Thursday. Friends may join the family at the
residence.
