Norfolk - Irving Paige Sr., of 806 Johnson avenue, a retired carpenter of Woods 
Construction Co., died in a hospital after a short illness.
A native of Petersburg, he was a son of Mrs. Lucille Carter and the late Eddie 
Paige.

Besides his mother, surviving are his stepfather, Clifford Carter of Norfolk; 
two sons, Irving Paige Jr. and Robert Paige of Washington; four sisters, Mrs. 
Kate Jones and Mrs. Barbara Lane of Hartford, CT; and Mrs. Lucille Saunders and 
Mrs. Marion Bibbins of Norfolk; and two grandchildren.

Services were held July 30 in Graves Funeral Home by the Rev. J. L. Kearney with 
burial in Calvary Cemetery.
