He was born in Norfolk and was a member of First United Presbyterian, Norfolk; Eureka Lodge; and was the Post Exalted Leader of Eureka Lodge; member of the class of '36 of Booker T. Washington High School; founder of Ken Paige and the Pied Pipers ``The Biggest Little Band In Tidewater.'' He is survived by his wife, Hattie B. Paige; two daughters, Harriet Paige Brown and Karen Paige Womack of Norfolk; six sons, Kenswil C. Paige Jr. of Norfolk, Vincent W. Paige of Hampton, Edward R. Paige, Marshall L. Paige of Norfolk, Ronald S. Paige of Chesapeake, Wendell Christopher Paige of Los Angeles; one sister, Nokomis Pollard of Petersburg; two brothers, Richard G. L. Paige II of Norfolk and Deutrelle Paige of Bloomingdale, Minn.; 27 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his parents, Marcella Land Paige and Richard G. L. Paige, and Gwendell Paige. A funeral will be at noon Monday in First United Presbyterian Church, Norfolk. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery . Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Remains will be placed in the church for viewing at 10 a.m. Monday.
