Norfolk - Jonas Palin of 4316 Parker avenue died in his home.

A native of Pea Ridge NC, he was the husband of Mrs. Mattie L. Palin and a son 
of the late John and Mrs. Lula Palin.

He was retired from Lamberts Point Coal piers after 35 years.

Surviving, besides his widow, are two sons, Nathaniel E. Palin and Jonas R. 
Palin, and a sister, Mrs. Bessie Charity, all of Norfolk;  and five 
grandchildren.

Services were held in Riddick Funeral Chapel by the Rev. J. L. Kearney.  Burial 
was in Calvary Cemetery.
