Virginian-Pilot October 22, 1949
Miss Mattie E. Pallett - Miss Pallett, 81, daughter of the late John and Mrs. 
Elizabeth Berry Pallett and a former resident of Norfolk, died Thursday at 
Madison, N.J. The body will be brought to Norfolk and services will be held at the 
chapel of the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments today at noon. Burial will be in St. 
Mary’s Cemetery.
