Norfolk Journal and Guide, Sep 28,1963
Willie B. Palmer, 60, of 1068 Hanson avenue, a janitor at Booker T. Washington 
High School, will be given a funeral service Sunday at 1 p.m. at Metropolitan 
AME Zion Church.

The Rev. Richard A. Councill will officiate.  Burial will be in Calvary 
Cemetery under direction of Morning Glory Funeral Home.

A native of Norfolk, Mr. Palmer is survived by his wife, Mrs. Daisy Palmer;  a 
daughter, Mrs. Hortense Turner;  and a sister, Mrs. Annie Chesson.  All are 
Norfolk residents.
