Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark July 30, 1933
Mrs. Charlotte Hyslop Palmer, aged 65, widow of Noah Hughes Palmer, died yesterday 
afternoon at 12:10 o'clock at her residence, 301 West Indian River road.  She was 
a member of the Berkley Avenue Baptist Church and a lifelong resident of Norfolk.
Mrs. Palmer is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Paul B. Ives, Baltimore; Mrs. A.W. 
Calcott and Mrs. P.J. Menzer, Norfolk and Mrs. M.C. Norman, Portsmouth; a son, 
Noah Hughes Palmer, Norfolk and seven grandchildren.  Funeral services will be 
held Monday afternoon at the residence with the Rev. B.L. Rhodes, pastor of the 
Berkley Avenue Baptist Church, officiating.
