The Virginian Pilot (Norfolk, Va.( Saturday February 8, 1964
Broughton Lee Palmer, 46, of Back Bay, son of the late Broughton Lee Palmer Sr. 
and Mrs. Minnie Harris Palmer, died in a Norfolk hospital Friday at 5 p.m.

A native of Norfolk, he was a lifelong resident of the Norfolk-Virginia Beach 
area. He was a mechanic with Clark Chevrolet of Virginia Beach.

He is survived by two sons, Carroll Lee Palmer and Broughton Lee Palmer Jr. of 
Back Bay; five sisters, Mrs. Minnie Huffman of Hampton, Mrs. Dorothy 
Shackleford of Newport News, Mrs. Stella Johnson of Westminster, Md., Mrs. 
Ethel Duffy of Albany Ga. and Mrs. Hilda Grimes of Virginia Beach; and four 
grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Sunday at 3 
p.m. by the Rev. Leroy W. Davis of Tabernacle Methodist Church. Burial will be 
in Riverside Memorial Park.
