Johnny B. Panella, the former owner of Kilroy's Friendly Grill in Norfolk, died 
March 29, 1992, in a nursing home.

Mr. Panella was born in Norfolk. He was a former employee of Mary Jane Bakery. He 
was a Catholic and was an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include a sister, Anne P. Evans of Norfolk; and several nieces and 
nephews.

The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Mary's Catholic 
Cemetery by the Rev. John J. Dorgan. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive 
Chapel, is handling arrangements.
