Virginian-Pilot April 11, 1976
NORFOLK - Joseph Anthony Panella, 77, of 414 Harvard St., Apt. 2, died Friday in a 
hospital.
A native of Norfolk, he was a Catholic.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Arthur P. Veith of Norfolk; seven 
grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A funeral service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Pius X Catholic Church. 
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. A Christian wake service will be 
conducted at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, tonight at 7. 
The family suggests memorial donations to St. Mary’s Infant’s Home, Norfolk.
