NORFOLK - Mrs. Lucy DiSario Panella, 64, of 201 W. 35th St., died Thursday night 
in a hospital after a long illness.
She lived in this area 44 years. She was a native of Philadelphia, a daughter of 
Salvatore and Mrs. Josephine DiSario.
She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
Besides her husband, Joseph A. Panella, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. 
Arthur P. Veith of Norfolk; a son, Anthony S. Panella of Alexandria; four 
sisters, Mrs. Frank Fulvio, Mrs. Anthony Piccone, Mrs. Ernest Pescatore and Mrs. 
Joseph Candalese; and three brothers, Harry DiSario, Jerry DiSario and Andrew 
DiSario, all of Philadelphia; and seven grandchildren. 
The body was taken to H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments. A funeral service will be 
held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Burial will be at 
St. Mary’s Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited in the funeral apartments 
tonight at 7:30.
