Virginian-Pilot April 19, 1972
NORFOLK - Mrs. Pearl Dinofa Panella, 71, of 501 Carlisle Way, died in a hospital 
Tuesday.
She was the widow of Frank Joseph Panella and a daughter of Nicholas and Mrs. 
Mary Ruggieri Dinofa.
She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
She is survived by a son, Frank A. Panella of Virginia Beach; four sisters, Mrs. 
Joseph Vita and Mrs. Amelia Madison of Norfolk, Mrs. Pasquale Arcese and Mrs. 
Joseph Arcese of Portsmouth.
The Rosary will be said in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight at 7:30.
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Newport 
Avenue and Painter Street, Thursday, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery.
