Norfolk - Mrs. Sarah Pannell, 50, of 2813 Corprew avenue, was given a funeral 
service Feb. 11 at Oakwood Chapel Disciples Church.  She died in a hospital Feb. 
6.

The Rev. David L. Davenport officiated at the service.  Burial was in Calvary 
Cemetery with Morning Glory Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Pannell was a choir member and assistant secreatary of the church’s 
Missionary Circle.

The Norfolk native is survived by her husband, William;  four daughters, Mrs. 
Gloria Luster, Mrs. Nedra Holloway and Mrs. Eulalia Foster of Norfolk;  and Mrs. 
Delphine Coles of Roanoke;  a sister Mrs. Elizabeth McGlone of Norfolk;  and a 
brother, Henry Lee of New York.
