Nellie Gray Papa, 90, of the 1500 block of Beekman St., died Nov. 4, 1998, in the 
Adult Foster Care Home in Norfolk.

Mrs. Papa was a born in Roper, N.C., and lived in Norfolk most of her life. She 
was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Norfolk and VFW Ladies 
Auxiliary Post 4809. She was the widow of William Domenic Papa.

Survivors include a nephew, Frank A. Papa of Chesapeake; two great-nephews, Robert 
A. Gray and William L. Gray; and a niece, Nina Jefferies, all of Norfolk.

A graveside service will be conducted at noon Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic 
Cemetery by Father John J. Dorgan. A visitation will be today from 7 to 8 p.m. in 
the Norfolk Chapel of H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts. Donations may be made to American 
Cancer Society, 2730 Ellsmere Ave., Norfolk 23513.
