He is survived by his wife and son, and they were here with him. He also leaves several brothers. He was in the hospital nine days. The funeral takes place next Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, the pastor, Monsignor O'Farrell, officiating. The burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, but the remains may later be taken to Antwerp. ***************************************************************************** The funeral of Capt. Robert Paret, of the steamship Sierra Quemada, took place this morning at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, the pastor, Monsignor O’Farrell, assisted by Rev. P. P. Brennan, officiating, being largely attended, among those present being the captains of several foreign steamships. Mrs. James Hughes sang, “O Salutaris,” and “Lead, Kindly Light.” There were many floral offerings. The burial was in St. Mary’s cemetery. The following being the pallbearers: John Saar, John Mittenberg, Gan Van Dyck, I. Noordyk, O. Christianson, W. Zechiels, James Phillips, August Vanhuysse, Ocil Crocker, John Ohman.
