Norfolk Journal and Guide, Oct 21, 1972
Norfolk - Wesley J. (Leg of Lamb) Parham Jr. of 3160 Schooley avenue, the 
husband of Mrs. Ruth Parham, died Oct. 16 in a hospital.

A native of Waverly, he was a son of the late Wesley J. and Mrs. Mary G. Parham.

He was retired from ILA Local 1248 and was a member of First Baptist Church, 
Bute Street, and its Men’s Progressive League.

Besides his widow, surviving are a brother, Wade Parham of Waverly;  and a 
sister, Miss Annie Mae Parham of New York.

A funeral service was held Oct.19 in First Baptist Church, Bute Street, by the 
Rev. E. Paul Simms.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Graves Funeral Home in 
charge.
