Norfolk - A funeral service for Emmitt Parham Jr., of 714 Clay avenue was held 
recently in Graves Funeral Chapel.

A member of the House of Prayer for All People and a native of Norfolk, Mr. 
Parham’s descendants total 61.

He was the husband of the late Ellen Parham and a son of the late Emmitt and 
Mrs. Sarah Parham.

Survivors are three sons, William, Earl, and Joseph Parham of Norfolk;  a 
daughter, Mrs. Leronia Anderson of Portsmouth;  33 grandchildren;  22 great-
grandchildren;  and two great-great-grandchildren.

Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.
