Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, December 13, 2005 
CHESAPEAKE - George W. Parham Sr., 85, submitted to the final sleep on Dec. 7,
2005, at the Sentara Nursing Center in Chesapeake. Our beloved father,
grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, he was a native of Norfolk born Sept.
11, 1920, to the late George and Estelle Parham .

He was the husband of the late Lyndora Myrick Parham .

He leaves to cherish his memory his son, George (Myke) Parham Jr. of Chesapeake;
two granddaughters, Kimberly Janee Parham of Virginia Beach and Kristen Mychal
Parham of Suffolk; a sister, Pearl Lyons of Norfolk; a sister-in-law, Bernice
Gregory of Norfolk; a special friend, Edith Brown of Suffolk; and a host of
nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Viewing will be at Riddick Funeral Service, 1225 Norview Ave., Norfolk, from 2
to 8 p.m. Wednesday with the family there from 6 to 7 p.m. A funeral will be
held at 11 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church, Bute St., Norfolk.
