Norfolk Virginian Pilot April 20, 1952

Mrs. Madeline Johnson Parker, wife of Emmerson L. Parker and daughter of the 
late William and Mrs. Mary Espy Johnson, died Friday at 11:15 p.m. at the 
Virginia Beach Hospital.
Mrs. Parker was a native of Norfolk and a lifelong resident of this section, 
residing at 518 21st Street, Virginia Beach, at the time of her death.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Lt. Col. Leon G. Lewis, USAF; 
one daughter, Mrs. Madeline Anderson, of Cleveland, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. 
Mary J. Humphries, of Norfolk; Mrs. J.P. Williams, of Oceana and Mrs. H.C. 
Cunningham, of Norfolk and five grandchildren.
The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to St. Mary's 
Catholic Church for services tomorrow at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's 
Cemetery.
